BuyAmerican. Build America.
Founded by Ludwig Raddell in 1927, Raddell’s Sausage Shop began as a family grocery in Cleveland, Ohio’s Collinwood neighborhood. Slovenian family recipes shaped its early offering. Four generations have carried those traditions forward with attention to preparation and customer service. The business also supports Cleveland organizations through event sponsorships and product donations.
Compare Original, Peppered, Hot and Sweet Honey without choosing a full case of one flavor. This beef jerky variety pack contains one individually packaged 2.85 oz bag of each flavor, for four bags and 11.4 oz of labeled net contents in total. The assortment contains jerky only. The separate jerky-and-smokies gift set has different contents and ingredient information.
Choose the assortment when you want to discover a favorite, split flavors among several snack breaks or put together a savory snack selection. Separate bags let you open the flavor you want and keep the other bags unopened. Each bag contains about three labeled servings, so one package is more than a single 1 oz serving.
Set out the bags for a side-by-side flavor comparison, or select one for a lunch break and refrigerate its leftovers after opening. Serve individual portions on a snack board with accompaniments of your choice. Any pictured serving suggestions or additional foods are not part of this four-bag assortment.
Original, Peppered and Hot: Beef, Salt, Sugar, Yeast Extract, Paprika, Garlic, Spices, Celery Powder (Natural Flavor), Silicon Dioxide (anti-caking). Sweet Honey: Beef, Honey, Salt, Sugar, Yeast Extract, Paprika, Garlic, Spices, Celery Powder (Natural Flavor), Silicon Dioxide (anti-caking).
The Sweet Honey formula explicitly includes honey. Flavor names alone are not a complete ingredient list, so review the appropriate bag rather than using one flavor’s information for the whole selection. Ingredient details here are transcribed from the photographed labels and should be checked against the package received.
The jerky bags are labeled gluten free and no MSG. Their nitrite statement is qualified: no nitrites except those naturally occurring in salt and celery powder. That qualification matters when comparing cured snacks. Check the current package before eating, particularly if you manage a dietary restriction; the visible labels do not establish every possible facility cross-contact condition.
Per 1 oz (28 g) serving, Original, Peppered and Hot labels show 70 calories, 13 g protein, 1.5 g total fat, 0.5 g saturated fat, 30 mg cholesterol, 510 mg sodium and 2 g carbohydrate. Sweet Honey shows 80 calories, 12 g protein, 2 g total fat, 1 g saturated fat, 30 mg cholesterol, 580 mg sodium and 2 g carbohydrate. Each 2.85 oz bag has about three servings.
These figures describe a measured serving, rather than an entire bag or an assortment. Use the nutrition panel on the particular flavor you open when comparing calories, protein or sodium. Package size and the number of bags do not change the serving size printed on each label.
The supplier identifies these jerky bags as shelf stable before opening. Every photographed flavor label directs refrigeration after opening. Keep the label with the remaining contents so that storage directions and flavor information stay available. A shelf-life duration or guaranteed number of days after opening has not been verified.
The supplier’s published direct-order schedule normally dispatches on Mondays and Tuesdays. Orders must be placed at least 24 hours before a shipping day; custom production and holiday schedules can add time. Published transit is an estimated 1–4 business days after dispatch, depending on destination. The supplier identifies beef jerky and Cleveland Beef Smokies as shelf stable before opening and says these snacks do not require cold packaging. Delivery choices and charges for your BuyAmerican purchase are shown at checkout. Confirm arrangements before ordering for a particular date. A free-shipping offer on the supplier’s own site is not a confirmed offer for this listing.
BuyAmerican’s published policy excludes perishable goods, including food, from standard returns. Confirm eligibility for this particular shelf-stable product before ordering. If an order arrives damaged, incorrect or otherwise problematic, contact hello@buyamerican.mom promptly with your order number and photographs so the issue can be reviewed. The supplier’s published direct-store refund policy offers replacement at no extra charge for spoilage caused by UPS or FedEx delays; it does not state a general food-return window. Application of that supplier replacement policy to BuyAmerican orders requires confirmation. Do not mail food back without instructions. Read the BuyAmerican return policy for the request process and conditions.
The photographed jerky bags identify a Cleveland, Ohio distributor and USDA establishment 20717. Historical USDA records connect that establishment number with an Ohio meat-processing facility. Those records support a United States processing link, but current product-specific manufacturing and beef-sourcing documentation has not been obtained. The country-of-origin review therefore remains incomplete; the distributor address alone is not used as proof of manufacturing origin.
