Cedar Waxwing | 100-Piece Mini Jigsaw Puzzle

Founded in 2007 by Adam Silver and Sarah Dickinson, New York Puzzle Company is based in Brooklyn, New York. The college friends began with a jigsaw puzzle of the New York City subway map. Their range centers on illustration, classic book art, and nostalgic images chosen to make everyday puzzling engaging. Recycled puzzle board and USA production reflect the company’s focus on thoughtful materials and domestic manufacturing.

Cedar Waxwing | 100-Piece Mini Jigsaw Puzzle

Cedar Waxwing is a 100-piece mini jigsaw puzzle with a finished size of 7 × 9 inches. It turns the featured illustration into a tabletop activity for puzzlers aged 10 and up, following the manufacturer’s age recommendation.

The Cedar Waxwing is a silky bird of brown, gray, and lemon-yellow feathers, accented with a crest, rakish black mask, and brilliant red wax droplets on the wing feathers. In fall they gather by the hundreds to eat berries, filling the air with their high, thin whistles.

The mini format offers a smaller finished picture for a desk, side table, or travel work surface. Lay out the pieces beside the box image, group obvious colors and details, and work at a pace that suits the puzzler. Compare the finished measurements with your available space; mini describes the puzzle format and does not replace the printed age guidance.

Materials and construction

The manufacturer describes its puzzles as thick, 100% recycled chipboard printed with soy-based inks and finished with a linen-style surface to reduce glare. The board gives the image a firm paperboard backing for tabletop assembly, while the lightly textured finish helps keep the printed artwork comfortable to view under ordinary room lighting.

Care and storage

Keep the cardboard pieces and box dry. Handle pieces with clean, dry hands, use a clean tabletop, and avoid drinks or food near the work area. Brush away loose dust gently with a soft, dry cloth. Do not immerse or wet-clean the board. Separate pieces carefully after use and return them to the box for storage away from moisture and direct sunlight. These are practical storage suggestions for a paperboard puzzle; follow any care instructions supplied with your item.
