Wood & Silicone Building Blocks | 24-Piece Set

Founded in 2011 by Stacey and Jesse Bannor, Bannor Toys is based in Madrid, Iowa. Inspired by the wooden toys they remembered from their grandparents’ homes, the founders wanted to give children simple ways to imagine, create, and learn through play. Their values center on simple design, creativity, and giving children room to make their own discoveries through hands-on play.

Wood & Silicone Building Blocks | 24-Piece Set

The set contains 24 blocks: sixteen maple blocks and eight colored silicone blocks. The silicone pieces have window openings, and the blocks measure approximately 1.5 inches square for combining solid and open shapes in a build.

Start with a few blocks on a clear, stable surface and let the child explore placing one beside another before building a taller tower. An adult can name the pictures or symbols and follow the child’s interests. Later, compare two faces, arrange a short sequence, or build a small structure together. The same pieces can support different activities as a child becomes ready for more complex play; no particular learning outcome is guaranteed.
