Nylon vs. Polyester Coast Guard Flags

Nylon Coast Guard Flag

Nylon is lightweight and flies readily in light to moderate wind, making it a strong choice for many residential flagpoles and everyday outdoor displays. It provides excellent color reproduction while reducing the weight placed on the flagpole and mounting hardware.

Polyester Coast Guard Flag

Polyester is heavier and more resistant to tearing, making it well suited to locations with stronger or more consistent winds when the flagpole is rated for the additional load. Available polyester sizes may vary by product option.
