Dogwood Small Horizon Server | Aluminum

Wendell August Forge began in 1923 in Brockway, Pennsylvania, when Wendell McMinn August and blacksmith Ottone Pisoni started making matching ironwork for August’s home. That practical commission grew into a decorative metalworking business. The company’s values center on skilled craft, preserving traditional techniques and creating gifts that mark family milestones. Its artisans continue the metalworking tradition in Pennsylvania, with production now in Slippery Rock.

Dogwood Small Horizon Server | Aluminum

Inspired by one of nature's most beloved flowering trees, the Dogwood Small Horizon Tray brings the beauty of spring into ythe maker’s home year-round. Delicately detailed dogwood blossoms flow across the tray's surface, creating an elegant design that celebrates renewal, grace, and natural beauty.

Handcrafted by the artisans of the maker, each tray is individually crafted using time-honored techniques that transform aluminum into a lasting work of art. The raised floral design creates depth and texture, while the signature hammered finish reflects light beautifully, adding dimension to every bloom.

Perfect for serving appetizers, desserts, and small bites, the Dogwood Small Horizon Tray is equally stunning as a decorative accent displayed on a coffee table, entryway table, or kitchen counter. Its versatile floral design complements both traditional and contemporary décor, making it a thoughtful gift for weddings, housewarmings, birthdays, Mother's Day, and special celebrations.

Care and storage

For the aluminum or pewter metal component, dust with a soft cloth. The maker permits a plain warm-water rinse followed immediately by gentle drying with a soft cloth. Do not use a dishwasher, cook in the piece or cut directly on the metal. Where food service is appropriate, limit use to cold food and use a suitable barrier for foods that may mark the surface.
