Reinforce the front of a compatible Easton FMJ 5MM arrow with a lightweight aluminum collar. These footers are sold in packs of six and add 10 grains per arrow. Each collar is 3/4 inch long, with five size choices that correspond to the shaft outside diameter shown in the selection table.

Choose the footer by the actual outside diameter of your arrow, using the spine designation only as a cross-check. The Dangerous Game 250 option has a different diameter from the other 250/300 option. A collar can reinforce a sound shaft, but it cannot repair an arrow that is already cracked or otherwise damaged.

Inspect shafts, points and inserts before each session and after an impact. Do not use a cracked shaft or a damaged point. Work with clean mating surfaces and investigate visible wobble before shooting. Changes to point weight or front-of-shaft components should be followed by a fresh alignment and tuning check on the complete arrow setup.
