The kit uses a polished 16-gauge aluminum flagpole, a powder-coated hitch-mount holder, stainless-steel clip hardware and a sewn nylon U.S. flag. The manufacturer lists a two-part locking arrangement at the holder.

Insert the holder in a compatible 2-inch hitch receiver and secure it according to the supplied instructions. Fit and lock the pole using the specified pin, thumb screw and coupler hardware; attach the 3' × 5' flag between the swivels. Check visibility, vehicle clearance and local rules. The manufacturer describes limited vehicle use but does not recommend use above 50 mph; do not interpret 50 mph as a guaranteed safe driving speed. Parked use is the more conservative choice.
