Silicone Stacking Cups | 8-Piece Nesting Toy Set

Founded in 2011 by Stacey and Jesse Bannor, Bannor Toys is based in Madrid, Iowa. Inspired by the wooden toys they remembered from their grandparents’ homes, the founders wanted to give children simple ways to imagine, create, and learn through play. Their values center on simple design, creativity, and giving children room to make their own discoveries through hands-on play.

Silicone Stacking Cups | 8-Piece Nesting Toy Set

Eight differently sized silicone cups stack into a tower or nest together. The nesting design keeps the pieces together between play sessions, and the maker describes the set as suitable for supervised bath or floor play.

Place a few pieces on a stable surface and invite the child to explore which ones fit together. An adult can model one simple action, then pause for the child to try. Talk about larger and smaller pieces, compare shapes, or count a short sequence together. Keep the arrangement low and easy to reach. There is no need to complete the whole set at once; a few pieces can be enough for a satisfying play session.

For a gift, check the number of pieces and the stated cleaning method before choosing. Silicone products should be compared using their own material and origin details rather than assuming that every product from an Iowa company is made in Iowa. After play, count the pieces back into the set, allow them to dry, and store them where an adult can inspect them before the next session.

For a first activity, start with two cups and demonstrate putting a smaller one inside a larger one. Later, an adult can build a short tower, count its cups, and let the child take it apart. The eight-cup format offers different sizes to compare without requiring a fixed sequence or a completed tower every time.
