the-bare-bones-fiberglass-bow-kit-4-week-lead-time
Bare BONES Fiberglass Bow-Building Kit – Three Package Options

Shatterproof Archery began with bowstrings offered by Kramer Ammons and grew with the help of his brother Kazden Ammons, who now owns the company. Based in Colorado Springs, Colorado, the business has an Etsy shop dating to 2017; its formal founding year has not been verified. The team aims to help more people enjoy archery through practical gear and education. Its published values emphasize simplicity, integrity, hospitality and perseverance. A small family business grew from bowstring orders and bow-building videos into a wider traditional archery range.

The Bare BONES kit starts with a partially built bow blank and leaves final shaping and completion to the builder. Three package levels offer different accessory and support arrangements.

Compare the selected package with your build plan before ordering. Kits can differ in which blanks, hardware, strings, books and support arrangements are included. A photograph of a finished bow is a project example rather than a promise that the package contains a completed shooting bow. Read each option carefully, particularly when a variant lets you omit a riser, string or book.

Set aside the tools, workspace and finishing supplies required by the instructions. Work through the complete method before making irreversible cuts or laminations. Raw material dimensions and kit package labels do not by themselves establish the final draw weight, finished length or suitability of the completed bow. If the build process or materials are unfamiliar, seek experienced bow-building guidance before proceeding.

For a string-building kit, choose only a fiber approved for the intended bow and confirm that the supplied bundles can make the finished length required. For a bow-building kit, establish how the included or optional string relates to the completed bow. A kit's support or replacement promise is a separate service arrangement, so confirm that the supplier will honor it for a purchase through this store before relying on that promise.

Product highlights

Walnut handle with shelf reference

Tapered bamboo laminations

Fiberglass construction

Ambidextrous blank for a right- or left-handed build

Sizes, options and package scope

30–35, 35–40, 40–45 or 45–50 lb package labels.
