BONES Reflex-Deflex Longbow – 60-Inch Traditional Bow

Shatterproof Archery began with bowstrings offered by Kramer Ammons and grew with the help of his brother Kazden Ammons, who now owns the company. Based in Colorado Springs, Colorado, the business has an Etsy shop dating to 2017; its formal founding year has not been verified. The team aims to help more people enjoy archery through practical gear and education. Its published values emphasize simplicity, integrity, hospitality and perseverance. A small family business grew from bowstring orders and bow-building videos into a wider traditional archery range.

The BONES is a 60-inch AMO reflex-deflex longbow with bamboo and fiberglass limbs. A shaped handle, included D97 string and calf-hair rest form the supplier's traditional shooting package.

Choose shooting hand, draw weight and configuration using your actual setup requirements. A listed draw weight is meaningful only with its reference draw length and tolerance. Compare your draw length with the maker's stated range and obtain guidance if the reference measurement is missing. A higher draw weight is not automatically a better choice for learning or for a comfortable practice session.

Read the included-equipment list alongside the selected options. A complete bow, a limb-only product and a partially completed kit are different purchases. For a takedown design, compatible limb geometry and attachment hardware matter; a similar appearance does not establish interchangeability. Follow the maker's assembly and setup instructions and have brace height, string seating and arrow compatibility checked before shooting.

The published lead time refers to the maker's production schedule and should be confirmed for the current configuration. Production time and carrier transit are different periods. Materials such as wood, bamboo and fiberglass can vary in appearance, so use product photos to understand construction rather than expecting an identical grain pattern. No unbreakable-bow claim, universal accuracy improvement or guaranteed arrow speed is made here.

Material names describe the identified construction. They do not by themselves establish component origin, a certification or compatibility with every bow or accessory.

Care and setup

Follow the maker’s assembly, stringing, brace-height and storage instructions. Inspect limbs, riser, attachment points and string before practice. Never dry-fire the bow, and stop if any component appears damaged or the setup changes unexpectedly. Use a compatible string and arrows. A model name or supplier guarantee does not eliminate routine inspection or the need for appropriate instruction.

Product-specific checks

Four-week lead time listed. Supplier does not specify draw-weight reference length in this description; confirm material choice and manufacturing origin.

Country of origin

Product-specific country of manufacture has not been established from the reviewed supplier material. Imported US inventory codes were not treated as sufficient proof: the same import assigned US codes to Black Hunter bows that the vendor identifies as imported. A Colorado business or shipping address does not establish where this item or its materials were produced.
