Tomatoes | 500-Piece Jigsaw Puzzle

Tomatoes is a 500-piece jigsaw puzzle with a finished size of 18 × 24 inches. It turns the featured illustration into a tabletop activity for puzzlers aged 10 and up, following the manufacturer’s age recommendation.

Cherry tomatoes cascade in glossy clusters while massive ribbed beefsteaks glow ruby-red alongside sun-yellow globes and deep crimson heirlooms. Dozens of varieties fill the page — some dangling from vines, others nestled among broad green leaves and delicate yellow blossoms — rendered with the loving precision of 19th-century botanical science.

This vintage illustration captures the era's passion for documenting edible diversity with both rigor and artistry. At 500 piece, the puzzle assembles with satisfying speed, ideal for an afternoon solve or an introduction to botanical puzzle collecting.

A perfect gift for home gardeners, heirloom tomato enthusiasts, food lovers, or anyone who finds unexpected beauty in the everyday abundance of the garden.

Use the box illustration as a visual reference and leave room around the finished image for sorting loose pieces. Group recognizable colors, borders, and image details, then connect small sections as the picture takes shape. Work alone or share sections with another suitable puzzler; the image and the puzzler’s experience will influence the pace of assembly.

Materials and construction

The manufacturer describes its puzzles as thick, 100% recycled chipboard printed with soy-based inks and finished with a linen-style surface to reduce glare. The board gives the image a firm paperboard backing for tabletop assembly, while the lightly textured finish helps keep the printed artwork comfortable to view under ordinary room lighting.

Care and storage

Keep the cardboard pieces and box dry. Handle pieces with clean, dry hands, use a clean tabletop, and avoid drinks or food near the work area. Brush away loose dust gently with a soft, dry cloth. Do not immerse or wet-clean the board. Separate pieces carefully after use and return them to the box for storage away from moisture and direct sunlight. These are practical storage suggestions for a paperboard puzzle; follow any care instructions supplied with your item.
