Its current business address is Salem, New York, and its team also has roots in Maine. Moreau began with inherited family tools after a blacksmithing apprenticeship in Scotland. Care and use

Let the tool cool before cleaning or storing it. Wipe it dry and keep it indoors or in a sheltered, dry place between uses. Steel can develop surface rust when exposed to moisture. Remove light rust with a suitable scouring pad or brush, then apply a thin protective oil layer to cool, cleaned metal. Keep any oil or refinishing product away from open flames and follow its instructions.
